Bill McSwain Far Outraises Opponents in Q1 2022

West Chester, Pa. —  Bill McSwain, Republican candidate for Governor, on Tuesday reported  $1,410,000 raised during pre-primary cycle 1, which ran January 1 – March 28, 2022.

This was McSwain’s strongest fundraising quarter to date, and included the contributions of 1,832 individual donors across 52 PA counties.

Not including any self-funding that his opponents engaged in, this $1.4M figure that McSwain raised from donors is by far the highest amount reported by any Republican gubernatorial candidate – nearly twice as much as McSwain’s closest competitor, further distinguishing McSwain as the GOP frontrunner.

McSwain expressed his gratitude for the nearly 2,000 individual donors who contributed during this period:

I am grateful to the many friends and contributors across the Commonwealth who have come together to advocate for a freer, safer, more secure Pennsylvania. Their support and our strong financial showing reflect the momentum that has been building across all 67 counties and confirms that Pennsylvanians are ready to nominate a conservative outsider who will fight for them as Governor.
